Israeli army arrests 6 Palestinians over petrol bomb attack

The Israeli army arrested six Palestinians in the West Bank Tuesday after a petrol bomb attack on the Israeli troops, sources in the Palestinian security forces and Israeli military said.

The Israeli forces were operating in the south of the holy city Bethlehem when a Molotov cocktail was thrown at them. An army spokesperson told Israel Radio that the attack caused no injuries.

The Palestinian security sources said the Israeli soldiers stormed houses near the scene of the incident and detained six Palestinians.

The Israeli army enters and operates in the Palestinian- controlled areas in the West Bank on daily basis.
