"One protester named Mazin Abdullah was shot dead by snipers in Taiz on Tuesday's clashes when tens of thousands of demonstrators protested against the opposition's full accord to the Gulf deal and demanded immediate end and prosecution of President Saleh," Foad Hussaien told Xinhua.
Around 13 others were wounded in the escalating clashes, three days after the opposition agreed to the Gulf Cooperation Council ( GCC) foreign ministers' initiative that stipulated Saleh to leave office in 30 days after signing the deal in return of immunity for him, his family and his aides, he added.
