Egypt's former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif was detained on Sunday over corruption charges, Egypt's media reported.

Nazif is one of a number of top figures in the previous government who have been investigated in an anti-graft crackdown after the resignation of former President Hosni Mubarak on Feb. 11.
