Israeli F16 warplanes struck several targets in southern Gaza Strip and in Gaza city shortly after midnight on Thursday. No injuries were reported, witnesses said.

The witnesses said that the Israeli warplanes first struck tunnels that the Palestinians are using for smuggling under the borderline between southern Gaza Strip and Egypt, adding that two tunnels were destroyed.
