Egypt on Saturday extended the curfew in the cities of Cairo, Alexandria and Suez from 4:00 p.m. local time (1400 GMT) to 8:00 a.m. local time (0600 GMT) of the following day, local media reported.
The coutry's armed forces have asked the citizens to obey the curfew.
