Syrian-Turkish-Qatari summit to be held in Damascus Monday

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari leader Hamad bin Khalifa will arrive in Damascus on Monday to hold talks with Syrian President Bashar al- Assad, Syrian official SANA news Agency reported Sunday.

The talks between the three leaders will tackle the latest development in the region with the aim of boosting relationship between the three countries. The talks will also deal with the political crisis in Lebanon.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu who is on a visit to Iraq will join his prime minister in Damascus and meet with Syrian and Qatari officials, the report said.
