Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Tuesday called on Western countries to stop what he called their support for terrorism.
He said at a weekly press briefing that western countries had better stop supporting terrorists and giving them shelter.
He added that the West should be accountable for a bomb attack in Iran's southeastern city of Zahedan last Thursday.
On Thursday night, two successive explosions in front of the Grand Mosque of Zahedan, capital of Iran's southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province, killed at least 27 people and injured more than 270 others.
The Pakistan-based Sunni group Jundallah has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Iran has held the United States accountable for the incident and for the Jundallah's earlier offenses; however, U.S. officials have condemned the terrorist attacks.
