Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa said Sunday that the Arabs will go to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) if proximity talks between Israel and the Palestinians showed no progress.
Moussa said in a press statement that the AL Ministerial Council decided to review the whole situation in case there was no progress in proximity talks by September, Cairo-based MENA news agency reported.
The AL will assess the whole developments in peace process and proximity talks during its regular ministerial meeting in September before taking any further decision, Moussa said.
