Egyptian president, Lebanese PM discuss Mideast peace

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak talked with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri about efforts to revive the Middle East peace process on Wednesday, Egypt's MENA news agency reported.
The talks covered the prospects of indirect negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis and the efforts to lift Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, said the report.
The two leaders also talked about boosting bilateral relations in the economic, trade and investment fields, and Egypt's participation in the reconstruction of Lebanon, the report added.
Mubarak met with Hariri in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el- Sheikh. On Monday, he met with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden here and discussed with him the Middle East peace process.
