Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Monday lashed out at Israel for killing Turkish citizens and called for Israel to abide by international law.
Erdogan told a press conference that "the attack was staged in open seas and 72 miles off Israel, and it targeted at unarmed volunteers, which has made the incident more grave."
"If we are talking about a terrorism in the Mediterranean, this is the state terrorism carried out by the Israeli government," he said.
There were over 100 decisions by the Security Council against Israel, however, the country comply with none of them, he said, adding now it is the time for compliance.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was also present at the press conference.
