"Tunisia firmly condemns the aggression perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces in international waters against the Gaza-bound aid flotilla which killed and injured dozens of people," the ministry said in a statement.
"Tunisia reasserts its rejection of these hostile practices which represent an affront to the international will and a violation of international and humanitarian conventions and resolutions, threatening to further complicate the situation in the region and undermine any hope for peace," the statement added.
The north African country asked "the international community, particularly the influential powers, to intervene immediately to lift the unjust blockade imposed on the Palestinian people in Gaza and put an end to their sufferings."
Over ten activists were killed and more than 30 others wounded after Israeli forces attacked an international Gaza-bound aid convoy Freedom Flotilla. The raid has sparked an outrage in Arab countries and across the world.
