In a separate incident, one gunman was killed and five security personnel were wounded in clashes between armed men and Iraqi security forces in the Mithaq neighborhood in eastern Mosul, some 400 km north of Baghdad, the source said.
Iraqi security forces sealed off the scene and captured two more militants, he added.
