Tens of Iranian university students gathered Wednesday before the British embassy in Tehran asking the British government to extradite the alleged murderer of an election victim.

The students performed a play simulating the death scene of the victim Neda Agha Soltan. They also chanted slogans against Britain and the United States, carrying placards which called for the extradition of Arash Hejazi, the alleged murderer as they called who is supposed to live in Britain.

The students referred to the murder of Neda as a plot orchestrated by the British intelligent service.

Agha Soltan was killed during the Iran's 2009 election protests. Her death was attributed to the pro-governmental elements of the opposition while the Iranian government called her death a scenario plotted by the opposition groups.

Protests gripped Tehran and other Iranian cities after the June12 presidential election, amid claims that the vote had been rigged in favor of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Iran's state media said about 30 people were killed in relevant clashes, including some in custody.
