Light plane crash kills 2 in Croatia

An ultra-light plane crashed Thursday night near Vrbovec, a town about 30 kilometers east of capital Zagreb, killing all two persons on board, Croatian authorities said.
Zagreb Police Administration said in a statement that the tragedy occurred around 20:20 local time (1920 GMT) at a sport airport near Vrbovec, killing the two persons on board at the scene.
Local media reported that the two victims were the pilot and co- pilot, members of an aerial club.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
