Romania decided to send a frigate to the Mediterranean Sea for the enforcement of the embargo against Libya, announced on Tuesday President Traian Basescu.

The president made the announcement after the end of a meeting of the Supreme Council for National Defense (CSAT), the country's top executive body able to decide on security and defense issues.
