A government plane left for Tripoli on Wednesday to evacuate Polish nationals from Libya, a Warsaw airport spokesman said.

The plane can evacuate some 80 Poles. More than 100 Poles are willing to leave Libya.

Libyan protesters started to rally in streets last week, plunging the North African country into chaos and bloodshed.
