Moscow will hold a day of mourning on Wednesday for the victims of the deadly attack at Moscow airport Domodedovo that claimed 35 lives, the city authorities declared Tuesday.

"In memory of the Jan. 24 terrorist attack victims at Domodedovo airport, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced a day of mourning in Moscow on Jan. 26," said the spokesperson of the mayor.

On the day, flags will be lowered half-mast in Moscow region, and entertaining programs will be canceled on TV and radio channels.

The airport attack was the second deadly bombing after the twin blasts in Moscow metro on March 29, 2010, when 40 people were killed and over 90 injured.
