Georgia on Thursday brought up the issues of a new concept of security and the return of refugees to the 13th round of the Geneva Talks which went underway between the South Caucasus country and Russia in the Swiss city of Geneva.

The Geneva Talks started on Oct. 15 of 2008 after the short conflict between the two countries.

So far the talks drew participation of deputy foreign ministers from the two countries whereas the United Nations and the European Union, at times, sent their most senior representatives to the talks.

Present at the 13th round of the Geneva Talks are Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Giga Bokeria and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.

Abkhazia and South Ossetia also have their representatives at the talks.

Co-chairmen of the Geneva Talks are special representatives of the EU, OSCE and UN secretary-general -- Pier Morel, Bulat Nurgaliev and Antti Turunen.
