Two bombs exploded on early Thursday morning in northern Spain, causing minor damage to the surrounding buildings, local media said.
A homemade bomb blasted at 01:25 local time (2325 GMT Wednesday) in an industrial zone in Alava, a province in Spain's northern Basque region, destroying the walls and windows of a nearby building.
At 02:15 local time (0015 GMT), a similar explosion took place in the northwestern region of Galicia, causing damage to the nearby buildings and cars.
Police are still investigating the explosions. It is the first explosion since Spain's armed Basque separatist group ETA said early this month it will not "carry out armed actions" in its campaign for independence.
