Polish airports have been nearly ready for Euro 2012 and only some delays have been reported in Poznan, the Puls Biznesu daily reported on Thursday.
"I am sure that the airports in Warsaw and Wroclaw will be ready for Euro 2012," said Tomasz Szymczak, an airports coordinator, was quoted as saying.
There are problems in Poznan as Lawica airport authorities are still waiting for some construction permits. The Gdansk airport is to be ready in March 2012, and this might be too late as an airport must be tested for 2-3 months before it opens, Szymczak added.
The Euro 2012 event will be co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine. The Polish part of the event will take place in Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan.
