A Finnish Air Force F-18 Super Hornet crashed in the south of the country but caused no deaths, local media said Thursday.
The fighter crashed in Juuapajoki, north of the southern city of Tampere at about 11:50 local time, media reported.
The two pilots, who were on a routine training flight, ejected safely and were uninjured and no-one on the ground was harmed.
The cause of the accident was still under investigation.
