French Ambassador to Iraq Boris Boillon said Monday that France and Iraq is going to sign several agreements on cooperation.

Ahead of the arrival of a Iraqi delegation leading by President Jalal Talabani on Monday, Boillon told the Europe 1 radio the two countries will discuss cooperation on defense and security, aviation, culture and economy. Several agreements, including two economic contracts, are expected to be signed.

The economic contracts will allow access for French Agency of Development and La Coface, a French commercial insurance company, to Iraq, he said.

Talabani is expected to have a conversation with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday, the first day of his four-day visit.
