Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov will pay a working visit to the Republic of Turkmenistan on December 18 and 19 at the invitation of his counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, local press reported Wednesday.

The program of the visit includes talks between Parvanov and Berdimuhamedov and the two countries' official delegations. Parvanov will attend the opening of a Bulgarian-Turkmenian Business Forum.

The Bulgarian president will lay a wreath to the Monument of Saparmurat Niyazov (president of Turkmenistan in the 1990-2006 period).

The Bulgarian delegation will include deputy ministers of foreign affairs, economy and environment, MPs and presidential secretaries. A business delegation will also accompany the president.
