6.7-magnitude quake hits Veracruz, Mexico -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted Veracruz, Mexico at 13:11:22 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey, monitored here, said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 119.30 km, was initially determined to be at 17.2830 degrees north latitude and 94.1860 degrees west longitude.
