6.4-magnitude quake hits Aleutian Islands

A strong earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted Aleutian Islands at 22:00 Beijing Time on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was located at 53.2 degrees north latitude and 171.2 degrees east longitude.
