The crash began shortly after 5:30 a.m., when a northbound vehicle slowed down to exit from State Highway 360 in Arlington, a city in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to local newspaper Dallas Morning News.
The 10 injured in the pileup were transported to hospitals and none of them obtained life-threatening injuries, police said.
The cause of the accident was under investigation, and rain- slicked roads may have been a factor, Arlington police Sgt. Christopher Cook was quoted as saying.
