On Sunday, a member of the PAN died of gunshot injuries in east coast state Veracruz, following an incident that the PAN reported to electoral officials as possible electoral violence.
Police in southern Mexico state Oaxaca arrested 39 people in two hotels in state capital Oaxaca City, as the men were preparing Molotov cocktails, bottles with flammable material and a wick designed to be thrown like grenades. Some of them were also carrying homemade weapons designed for knife fighting.
