Two people wounded in gunfire in NW Los Angeles

The police have been looking into a gunfire where two people were wounded by a lone gunman in Northwestern Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, local television channel reported.

Shots rang out inside the Ralph's grocery store at 18300 Van Owen Street at around 6:00 p.m., and two wounded people were transported to a local hospital, KTLA 5 reported on its website.

The gunman fled from the store and is currently at large. Police have set a perimeter and are searching for the suspect, police officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, West Valley station said.

Police did not provide information concerning the victims' conditons.
