Colombian President-elect Juan Manuel Santos said Sunday that during his administration he looks forward to working hand in hand with neighboring countries, at a time when Bogota's relations with Venezuela and Ecuador remain tense.

"I aspire to work hand in hand with neighboring countries to develop a joint agenda for cooperation and closer involvement on all fronts," Santos said in his speech as the winner of Sunday's presidential election.
