British Queen Elizabeth II will pay tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks in a visit to New York's Ground Zero in July, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, 89, will visit the United States on July 6, following an eight-day tour of Canada.
The queen is expected to meet with relatives of the victims and lay a wreath at the Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center in New York City, which was destroyed in the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.
In New York the queen will also address 192 members of the United Nations General Assembly for only the second time in her reign. Her first speech to the body was in 1957.
British Prince Harry visited the Ground Zero in May last year, and met families of some of the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.
