U.S. President Barack Obama announced on Thursday that he had accepted an invitation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to visit India in early November.
"I am delighted to announce tonight that I plan to visit India in early November," Obama said in a speech at the reception for the U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue held in Washington.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh offered the invitation when he visited Washington last year.
