Mexican president vows to act against U.S. Arizona immigration law (2)

Also on Friday, U.S. President Barack Obama called the Arizona bill "misguided" and instructed the Justice Department to examine it to see if it was legal.
Obama said the federal government should enact immigration reform at the national level.
"We appreciate the rejection expressed by the U.S. president in response to the new Arizona anti-immigrant law," Calderon said.
The Arizona law has also been condemned by the government of El Salvador and some nongovernment organizations representing immigrants in the United States.
