Venezuela calls for removal of submarine platform in Malvinas(Falkland) Islands

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez demanded on Monday the British government to remove the submarine platform established in Malvinas(Falkland) Islands and return to the Argentine people their territory.

During his speech at the Group of Rio Summit, Chavez said "we demand not only the submarine platform to be removed, but also the British government to follow the resolutions of the United Nations and give back that territory to the Argentine People."
