The Verification Commission of the Tegucigalpa-San Jose Agreement, discarded on Wednesday the immediate restitution in power of ousted President Manuel Zelaya, saying that everything will be done "step by step."

During a press conference, member of the Commission, U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis said "everything takes time, and now we are focused on bringing different groups to try to set a (reconciliation) cabinet."

Ricardo Lagos, former Chile President and member of the Commission said "step by step we must be able to advance on the issues that we consider important."

"First the government of unit, we have centered our efforts there, we hope them to be successful," Lagos added.

The verification of the agreement is a complex and difficult issue and to advance on it, it must be done step by step, and the way to advance on the formation of the unity government corresponds to the involved parts in the agreement (Zelaya and de facto leader Roberto Micheletti), Lagos said.

Meanwhile, the representative of the de facto government, Arturo Corrales said they already have the name of the people to form the government of unity, but he did not mention them.

"We expect to follow the path to reach the first step in the agreement," Corrales said.

The Verification Commission was set on Tuesday and it has met with Zelaya, Micheletti and deputies of the National Congress.
