A four-story residential and commercial building collapsed in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklin, New York, Sunday afternoon, with four people suffering minor injuries.

Local TV channel NY1 cited fire officials as saying that several people were inside the building when it started to come down around 2 p.m. (0600 GMT). A little girl was among the injured in the collapse.

The reason for the collapse still remains unclear, said the report.

Fire officials were cited as saying that all of the injuries were minor and that only one person required hospital treatment.
