A plane carrying 107 passengers and five crew members went off the runway during takeoff from the Denver International Airport and caught fire Saturday night, injuring nearly 40 people, reports from Denver, Colorado, said.
For now, at least 36 people were taken to local hospitals. But there were no reports of either death or serious injuries in the accident.
The Boeing 737 plane, belonging to the Continental Airlines, was heading to Houston, Texas, before the accident.
