Three people were killed and one was wounded when a man shot at people gathering at a Wisconsin river for a swim, media reports said Friday.
The shooter, a middle-aged man wearing camouflage clothing and armed with an assault rifle, fired at the gathering near a railroad bridge on the Menominee River Thursday evening, local authorities were quoted as saying.
More than 100 law enforcement officers were still searching for the gunman who was last seen near Niagara town, said a law enforcement officer.
He said all the three dead were teenagers and the injured was identified as a 20-year-old male.
Two of the bodies had not been removed from the scene for fear that the shooter was still nearby, he added. Source: Xinhua
