U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Friday she does not plan to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) during her three-nation Asia trip next week.
"I just don't think it's something useful at this time," Rice said at a press conference.
Rice will travel to Seoul, Beijing and Tokyo from Feb. 25-27 and the top priority will be the DPRK's nuclear issue.
However, as the New York Philharmonic will visit the DPRK at about the same time, some media has speculated that Rice might embark on the DPRK trip.
