During the first session, the 13th NA will review on the report of the election committee on the result of the lately 13th NA and people's council at all levels for the 2011-2016 tenure.

The session will also verify the qualification of 13th NA deputies and pass the resolution on the confirmation of the qualification of the deputies.

Especially, the session will focus on election of the NA Chairman and Vice Chairmen, and members of the NA Standing Committee; State President and Vice Presidents, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers, and other high-ranking officials of the government cabinet.

Besides, deputies will review and discuss other important issues including the program of law making in 2012; reviewing country's socio-economy in the first six months of 2011 and implementation and solutions for socio-economic development plans in the second half of the year; approval of the state budget expenditure; implementation of the 11th Party Congress' Resolution; establishment of the committee on the draft amendment and supplement of the 1992 Constitution.
