5.8-magnitude quake hits Kepulauan Barat Daya, Indonesia -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted Kepulauan Barat Daya, Indonesia at 17:06: 39 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 246.20 km, was initially determined to be at 7.1050 degrees south latitude and 127.5468 degrees east longitude.
