Myanmar authorities make investigation into three bomb blasts: official

The Myanmar authorities are making investigation into the cause of the bomb blasts which exploded almost simultaneously in three Myanmar cities, the official daily New Light of Myanmar reported Saturday.
The series of bomb blasts rocked three cities of Myanmar -- Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw and Pyin Oo Lwin, slightly injuring three people, destroying two houses and a vehicle at Friday's noon, the report said.
The bomb blast in Mandalay hit a blue-color Surf vehicle parking in front of the famous Zegyo Market, while that in Nay Pyi Taw destroyed an empty house, causing damage to the roofs in Zabuthiri Township, that in Pyin Oo Lwin damaged an empty house with no causalities.
The public are urged to come forward with information if they found any suspected persons.
Meanwhile, an old man was wounded by a mine, which was planted by the Kayin National Union (KNU) insurgents, while going to farmland in Mawlamyine in Mon state Friday, the paper added.
