Head of KCNA visits U.S. at invitation of The Associated Press

Kim Pyong Ho, general director of the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the official news agency of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), traveled to the United States on Thursday, KCNA reported.
According to the KCNA, the delegation led by Kim Pyong Ho was visiting the U.S. at the invitation of The Associated Press.
Thomas Curley, president and chief executive officer of the AP paid a three-day visit to the DPRK on March 8-10. Curley said the AP would like to strengthen press cooperation with the DPRK.
The KCNA didn't disclose the purpose of the visit.
