5.2-magnitude quake hits Hokkaido, Japan region -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Hokkaido, Japan region at 12:48 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 73.80 km, was initially determined to be at 43.2526 degrees north latitude and 145.3010 degrees east longitude.
