Pakistani police said Wednesday they arrested a Saudi born Pakistani militant who was recruiting young boys for militancy training.

Rai Ijaz, the Police Superintendent in the eastern city of Gujranwala, told media that following some secret information they managed a raid on a house in the early morning and arrested a person named Ziaullah.

Ziaullah, during the interrogation, accepted that he has been working for "Hizbul Mujahidin," a militant organization involved in the Afghanistan war against the former Soviet Union.

Police also confirmed that two kidnapped young boys were also recovered from his residence, who were about to be sent to the training center somewhere in the country's northwestern region.

Police has registered a case against him under section 21-C of terrorism act of Pakistan which offers strict punishment for recruiting or hiring people for some terrorism activity including training.
