4 killed, 16 injured in rocket attack in Quetta, Pakistan

At least four people were killed and 16 others injured in a rocket attack Wednesday evening in Pakistan's southwest city of Quetta, reported local TV channel Express.

According to the report, the attack took place at about 6:40 pm (local time) when some unknown militants fired two rockets in the Sariab road of the city. The injured people included one policeman.

No further details are available at this point.

A number of terrorist attacks were reported in different parts of Pakistan on Wednesday. Earlier Wednesday two remote-control bombs exploded in northwest Pakistan, killing one and injuring eight others including six cops.

Apart from these, a rocket attack was also reported in Pakistan 's southern port city of Karachi, during which three people inside a mosque were injured. On Wednesday afternoon, three NATO oil tankers were torched by some unknown miscreants in Pakistan's southwest city of Sibi.
