Japanese PM approves TEPOC's planned power outages

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan on Sunday approved that Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPOC) implement the planned power outages in its service areas as of Monday.

The premier made the decision at a press conference late Sunday.
