Special law to be imposed in major locations in Bangkok against rallies

Thai Cabinet on Tuesday approved the enforcement of Internal Security Act (ISA) in major locations in Bangkok from February 9 to 23, in an effort to control the situation in the upcoming protests around Government House.

The ISA will cover seven districts, namely Phra Nakorn, Wattana, Pathumwan, Pomprab sattru phai, Wang Thonglang, Ratchatavee and Dusit, where the Government House is located.
