Indonesia urged its citizens not to travel to countries around Egypt and Yemen, fearing domino effect of chaos in Egypt, online news quoted an official as saying on Friday.

"We have issued a travel advisory to our citizens (not to travel) to countries such as Yemen as we know that situation is ' full of dynamics'," said Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa in the presidential office.

In fact, he said, Indonesian Embassy in Yemen has been told to record data on citizens in the country, expected of about 3,000.

"If the situation worsens, we will be ready, the same as we did in anticipating development in Tunisia and Egypt. Hopefully, it wouldn't be so far," he said.

According to Natalegawa, Egypt is a very influential country in the Middle East, especially for its role in Arab League and Islamic Conference Organization, among others.
