Indonesia hopes Egypt back to normal soon

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Wednesday that he hopes Egypt is back to normal soon so that the Indonesian citizens who have activities there could return safely, private television TVOne reported.

"We hope that the situation could be back to normal. Hopefully, there is no more violence so that our citizens who work and study in Egypt could return there,"said President Yudhoyono while welcoming the first group of evacuee in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

He urged the evacuees to be patient and urged authorities to give the best service for them.

"Please, provide them with the best service, food and health facilities,"he said.

The president pledged that the government will keep repatriating citizens left in Egypt.

He also said that once situation is restored, the government will help facilities citizens to return to Egypt

About 400 out of 6,100 citizens had been evacuated to Indonesia.Source:Xinhua
