Traffic around Thai Government House has been paralyzed on Tuesday as over 3,000 supporters of the People Alliance's for Democracy (PAD), alias "yellow-shirts" movement, hold mass rally against the government.

Ratchadamnoen-nok road near the Government House was completely blocked and more supporters are expected to join later on Tuesday evening.

PAD protesters are now setting up a stage at Makhawan intersection as their core leaders plan to make a speech in the evening.

A"yellow-shirts"core leader Pipop Thongchai said the main topic of their address Tuesday will mainly deal with the border disputes between Thailand and Cambodia.

The "yellow-shirts" staged mass gathering in a bid to demand the government to withdraw from the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, revoke the memorandum of understanding on the Thai- Cambodian border signed in 2000, and expel Cambodian people from disputed border areas.

Another core leader Jamrong Srimuang said on Tuesday that his group vowed to prolong the protest and would not disperse until their demands would be realized by the government.
